| I have posted previously about an issue I have with oil smoke in my exhaust when I come to a stop or idle for a bit. La-Z-Link Over the holidays I pulled both my turbos (engine in the car is definitely the hard way) and found oil in the driver side compressor outlet. There was no oil in the compressor inlet at all. As these are new (less than 4500 miles) and still under warranty from Z1, I have returned them for repair. After Z1 got them I spoke to them and was told they did not think there was a problem but they would send them to the rebuilder for evaluation. They also mentioned that their rebuilder had seen some new turbo CHRAs that had less than great seals but we would have to see what he says. Now I am afraid that the rebuilder will say the oil is a normal amount or that they look OK to him and I will be stuck. I don't want to put them back in only to have them smoke again and I don't want to spend a lot of money to replace them since they are new and supposed to be under warranty. Here are photos of the oil in the outlet: La-Z-Link La-Z-Link Can anyone suggest a reason other than a bad seal for there to be oil in the outlet but not in the inlet? Thanks, KK
